The care of our horses has always been a top priority for us and we feel if we take care of them, they will take care of us! We love our horses and take great pride in being able to welcome you to our beautiful part of the world and show you the beauty of the Gila National Forest on horseback. Our cost to keep our herd in top shape is at a minimum $70,000 per year:
- $35,000 per year for Hay.
- $15,000 per year for Shoeing.
- $12,000 per year for Veterinary Care and Medicine.
- $3,000 per year for Mineral Tubs make sure they are getting all their necessary nutrients.
- $2,500 per year to Float Teeth.
- $1,500 per year for Psyllium to Prevent Sand Colic.
- $1,000 per year for Dewormer.
