Come Reconnect with Nature and Recharge your Spirit with our Outdoor Adventures!

Gila National Forest

Situated within the 3.3 million acre Gila National Forest, our ranch is located in a nature lover’s paradise. From mountain peaks to canyon valleys, beautiful flowering meadows to crystal clear spring-fed streams, you’ll enjoy pristine scenery untouched by the modern world. We love to share our knowledge of the flora and fauna with our guests! Along with our focus on horseback riding, there are opportunities for outdoor adventures swimming in the creek, unguided hiking and fishing, bird watching and spotting wildlife!

Horseback Riding

Our main focus is on trail riding and seeing the beautiful scenery by horseback. From mountain views to deep canyons with crystal clear streams running through them, our vast area allows for you to see a different area and ride different trails every day of your stay. We have well trained, responsive horses and can accommodate any level of rider from beginner to experienced.

We are open March through mid-November for our New Mexico Outdoor Adventures.

Native American Culture

This area has a rich and fascinating history you can explore during our outdoor adventures including pit houses, cliff dwellings, pictographs, pottery shards, and other artifacts of the Mimbres people who were here from 200-1150 AD. This is the birthplace of Geronimo and the homeland of the Chiricahua Apaches. You will also learn about Basque Sheepherders coming through the area, Cowboys, Outlaws and even Tin Mining!

Wildlife

With 453 species of vertebrates and 337 bird species found in the Gila National Forest, the opportunities for wildlife viewing and bird watching are plentiful. Many species of butterflies can also be observed here!
